The 2 Dr...

Jamuan untuk meraikan tamatnya tempoh perkhidmatan Dr. Ali di Melbourne telah menemukanku dgn laksa johor hari ini. Akhirnya, setelah sekian lama tercapai jua impianku nak merasa laksa favourite ni. Sampai ke Pascoe Vale baru jumpa...he..he..he. Terima kasih kepada tuan rumah, Ust Zul & Hafilah dan kwn2 VMPGA for inviting us.

We missed the speech and all, but I bet it was inspiring as always, on the part of Dr. Ali. We wished him all the best in his future undertakings in Malaysia. I personally feel that Victoria's students has lost "a father figure". Semoga penggantinya, adalah sebaik Dr. Ali atau lebih baik lagi, Insya Allah.

Nyum..nyum

Getting in the spotlight of Dr. Ali

One of the reason we came late to the farewell party, was because we planned to join the gathering at Malaysia Hall later the same evening and wanted to make a 'one way' trip. Minister of Foreign Affairs, Y.B. Dato' Seri Utama Dr. Rais Yatim was in town, and a special session with him was arranged by the Hall. The High Commisioner of Malaysia to Australia, Dato Salman Ahmad was also present.

Dalam pada menunggu ketibaan mereka, dapatlah akhirnya berjumpa dgn Farami yg sudah seminggu tiba di Melbourne. Farami & family was in transit & will move to Footscray next week.

Makan lagi...Alhamdulillah. Murah rezeki

An orator in Dr. Rais

After dinner (by Lazzat Lygon) Dr. Rais gave a resounding speech about us being the seeds & flowers of the nation. He talked about Perak too, but I couldn't actually comment on it since I was running up & down monitoring the children in one of the transit rooms.

Later, we dropped by Farami's transit house in Punt Road for a chit chat before heading back home. It was a tiring but interesting day. We even got some "juicy" information on the economy & GAZA situation.
