Semalam kindergarten teacher Aliyah telah 'tagged' me with all these questions. Homework utk mama lah pulak. Soalan2nya tak lah menduga akal, cuma buat aku ter'pana' je lah sat, sbb kadang2 ada byk benda I tend to take for granted. Here are the questions:

Child's Name:

Aliyah Syarifah Ibrahim ( her full name inclusive surname is actually a sprawling 5-worded name, & the Aussies can never pronounce the short version of Muhammad - MOHD properly, so we tend to just leave it out)

At home we normally speak in these languages:

Malay &....English (mostly we both speak English to one another, sbb sometimes nak hide certain2 facts from her, like me going here or there without her. But really ... we must start talking to her in English!)

The people in my family are:

My pets/animals I like are:

Hmmm... let's see. I think I like cats, but kambiyang is good too

My favourite foods to eat are:

All forms of cooked egg, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Ice cream, Yogurt, French Fries, Kicap jgn lupa (alahai...semuanya tak brp nak healthy nih.....)

At home I enjoy:

Doing art work (sambil buat sampah), watching DVD with my brother & playing house with him, bully him sometimes (or at other times he bullied me...tgk angin masing2 ler)

What we value as a family:

Spending time together, sometimes on a day trip but most of the times on the family bed

What special things does my family celebrate?

Well, let see there's Uwais birthday coming up, then mine, then mama's and babah's. (We also celebrate everytime mama gets something major written down in any of her chapters...he..he..he)

When I am unhappy what makes me feel happy?

A cuddle from mama definitely, going to the park...or having some ice cream

What do you like about your child?

Sebenarnya perkara pertama yg terlintas kat fikiran utk jawab soklan ni adalah, Aliyah tersangatlah manjanya. Tp aku tak jumpa cariklah pulak perkataan yg sesuai, lagipun sometimes that character is not what I like most about her, so I just wrote the folllowing which is also true about her.

Well, she's very adorable and attached to me. She has an inquisitive mind and very expressive especially in her mother tongue. She's learning to be tolerant of everyone around her and also take responsibility of her actions. She also always suprises me with her ability to recall bits & pieces of past events, even though she was younger back then. She loves to share her daily activities with me.

What would you like your child to achieve at kinder?

I want to her to be able to socialize with her peers in a respectable way & also improve her communication skills in English.
