Unravelling Cairo...

It's time like this that I'm really 'enjoying' my uni's free digital cabel TV. Al-Jazeera International is on almost everyday now, unravelling Cairo's war-zone like-condition exclusively. It's interesting to see how the US will respond to the chaos, with one side of the protestors a pro-democracy group, an ideal principle campaigned by the US and the other a pro-Hosni Mubarak loyalists, a known 'allied' of Israel. Egypt is definitely an important 'security piece' to both the US and Israel.

Whatever the outcome, violence is escalating in Cairo with no resolution in sight. Egypt's future seems bleak, with no clear 'replacement' for Mubarak. And beyond that, a lot of people's future and lives depend on Cairo's unrest to end. May Allah shows them guidance and strength in facing this tribulations.
