Half a Day at the Museum

Melbourne ada byk muzium dan exhibition centre. Tapi 4 yg paling besar adalah Melbourne Museum, Immigration Museum, Scienceworks dan the Royal Exhibition Building. Today, after putting it off for quite some time, we decided to visit one of them, the Melbourne Museum.

Kat luar Muzium, yg berkubah tu adalah the Royal Exhibition Building.
Rupa Muzium Melbourne adalah agak futuristik.
(Takde pulak gambarnya)

(Jangan jadi cam dlm citer 'Night at the Museum' sudah)

Melbourne Museum is fascinating, actually. Taklah bosan mcm muzium2 biasa sbb kebanyakan exhibit2nya ada interactive features. Boleh tekan, picit, dengar, tengok short clip & macam2 lagi. Dalam muzium ada live forrest gallery, kids gallery, science gallery, mind & body gallery, and a few more galleries. Tp sbb kitaorg nak kejar parking yg hanya dpt 2 jam, so tak sempat tgk forrest gallery, and most of the galleries kitaorg serang hendap jer.

Muzium ni juga very lively dgn pengunjung2 dan aktiviti2 sampingan. Bukan setakat muzium, ia juga jadi tempat utk mcm2 event anjuran sesiapa yg berminat utk jadikan muzium sbg background program mereka. Pendek kata, I think muzium ni seronok jugak. It deserves another visit actually. Maybe next April bila Gallery Dinasour yg baru siap. Next time, we'll need to go earlier in the morning & take the bus. No need to rush over parking.

Aliyah terkesima tengok the 'Hand Painting Wall' kat Kids Gallery.

Tak tahulah kenapa bulan ni jadi exhibit jugak, tak sempat nak baca plak nya. Tapi jadi tempat berposing sudah pasti...

Sebelum nak balik, terperanjat jugak tgk exhibit ni kat Aboriginal Gallery. Mesin jahit Singer antik tu. Ada ala2 macam Tok Mama punya lah. Aliyah siap tanya, "Kenapa mesin tok mama tu ada kat sini?" hu..hu..hu tak terjawablah pulak.
